How to Hold Orders in MapMyChannel (MMC)
Overview
Most online business owners start processing orders as soon as they receive them, aiming to deliver as quickly as possible. While this is the common approach, there is an alternative order processing strategy. Sellers can choose to hold orders for a short period, giving customers time to make changes or additions. This can lead to reduced logistics costs and increased order value, ultimately benefiting the business.

Steps to Enable Hold Order Setting in MapMyChannel
Step 1: Navigate to the Integrations Page

Log in to your MapMyChannel account.

Go to the Integrations section.

Click the Edit icon next to the relevant sales channel to open the channel settings

Step 2: Enable Hold Order Sync

In the settings dialog, locate the Hold Order Sync setting.

Select how long to hold the order (from Immediate to 72 hours).
Sales Channel Settings
Once enabled, all new orders from the selected sales channel will be held for the chosen duration before processing.
Note: By default, orders are processed immediately unless you set a hold time.
