Shipments Page – Overview

This page is not used for creating orders. It is used to track, monitor, and manage shipment records that already exist in connected sales channels (Shopify, etc.).

MMC Shipment Page

Core Goals

  • View shipment status per order

  • Track fulfillment progress

  • Filter shipments by:

    • Order ID

    • Tracking number

    • Channel account

  • Remove shipment records when required (trash icon)

2. “Track Your Shipments” – Top Section

A. ERP Account Selector

ERP Account (Dropdown)

  • Used when:

    • Multiple ERPs or systems are connected

    • You want to pull shipments from a specific ERP

Get Shipment Button

  • Manually fetches shipment data from the selected ERP

  • Acts as a sync trigger, not a filter

Note: If the "Get Shipment" button is not clicked, newly fulfilled orders may not appear on the page.

B. Filters (Right Side)

You can filter shipment records using:

  • Order ID – Exact order reference

  • Tracking Number – Shipment-level search.

  • Channel Account – e.g., a Shopify store, WooCommerce, or bigcommerce.

  • Filter button – Applies the selected criteria.

Limitations

  • No date-range filter

  • No multi-status selection

  • Filtering works on exact matches only (not fuzzy search)

3. Shipment Table – Column Breakdown

1. Order ID

  • Order reference from the connected sales channel

  • Each row represents one shipment, not necessarily one order

Note: The same order ID may appear multiple times if:

  • Partial shipments exist

2. Last Modified Date

  • Timestamp of the most recent update received from the channel or ERP

  • Updated when:

    • Shipment status changes

    • A sync operation occurs

3. Shipping Method

Examples:

  • Standard

  • Expedited

Source:

  • Shipping method selected during checkout or fulfillment

  • Passed from the channel → MapMyChannel

4. Tracking Number

  • Tracking number provided by the carrier to monitor order delivery status.

5. Carrier Name

  • After the order is assigned to a logistics partner, the name is displayed based on the corresponding order ID.

6. Shipping Status

Value shown: ACCEPTED

Meaning:

  • Shipment record has been successfully created on the ERP and is updated on the respective sales channel.

Does not confirm:

  • Pickup

  • In-transit status

  • Delivery

Interpretation:

System-level confirmation, not physical shipment movement.

7. Fulfillment Status

Value shown: _shipped

Represents:

  • shows whether an order status is either shipped or pending.

8. Action (Trash Icon)

  • Deletes the shipment record only from MapMyChannel.

Does not delete:

  • The order in Shopify

  • Fulfillment in the ERP

  • The carrier shipment itself
